Building a sawmill II

Afther a sorth break in August we are back!. Today we are still building our sawmill for Warhammer Fantasy, Mordheim (Empire in flames) y 1650 A Capa y Espada.

“Beans for breakfast, beans for luch, beans for dinner…”

In the last article Building a sawmill we did the facade and the rooftop main structure. So we started with the wooden floor.

We are making a sawmill for Warhammer Fantasy.

Balsa wood is great to build scenery for Warhammer. So we used it to do girderes of 4x4mm, then we could place the floor boards over it. We cut boards of 5×1.5mm with differents larges for the floor.

We were not sure about how will do the rooftop. Firstly we try with a inverted V form with a big beam on the vertex.

Balsa wood is ideal to do scenery.

Finally the result didn’t look good enough. So we must thought in something different.
At the end we did a triangle.
Roof boards will stand over girderes as the floor. We overlaped the boards and did a hole in the roof.

Finally Sam thought that we did a good work!

We hope that you are ejoying with our sawmill. We could no wait to use that to play Mordheim (Empire in flames) and 1650 A Capa y Espada.
