1650: Ysbilia guard.

To us  1650 A capa y espada is a great game. It is similar to Mordheim (Empire in flames) but with much stuff. In both games, the experience is better if you play with a full scenery board and painted figures. Ysbilia Guard of Morados viejos, Old regime is the last miniature that we have painted.

We could´t stat to play with it when we finished to paint it. The reason was, our friends from Trytants ask to us to write an article. We compare models from Tercio Creativo, Carnevale and Games Workshop. You could read the article here.

Once again, Tercio Creativo has sculpted a excellent model for 1650 A Capa y Espada. Ysbilia guard details and scale are so good.

1650 A capa y espada figures are excellent.

We were sure about the colors. Black for the armour mixed with  dark green for lights. Finally we added varnish. The shirt grey and white, helps to balance the color.  Brown for leather.

Ysbilia guard fights against a Curtido, from Morados viejos, an enemy faction.

We are really happy with 1650 A capa y espada figures. Therefore take them to our Empire army of Warhammer Fantasy as free companies. Although sometimes they have been seen patrol Mordheim streets.

Do you like the figures?
